How do I get to Florentin House from the airport?
From Ben Gurion airport to our House @ 6 Florentin street, Tel Aviv, Israel.
By Taxi:
The journey takes about 30 minutes. Cost: ~ 160 ILS
Taxi companies based at Ben Gurion Airport are under the supervision of the Israel Airport Authority. Taxi drivers are required by law to use the meter on all trips. Passengers are advised to request a receipt at the end of the journey.
By Train + Taxi or Walk:
The train journey takes about 15 minutes. Cost: 15 ILS per ticket
Israel Railways provides a comfortable and efficient service BUT does not run from Friday afternoon until late Saturday evening.
Regular hours of operation: 3 a.m. until midnight
The train station in Ben Gurion airport is located on Level S (ground floor) and can be accessed from the arrivals hall via the elevators, escalators, or stairs. Tickets may be purchased from automatic machines located on Level G.
You need to get off at HaHagana station.

From HaHagana station we advise you to catch a Taxi (takes about 10 min and costs roughly 40 ILS).

As soon as you step outside the train station, turn left towards the central bus station, ask a local where the direction of the beach is, walk on Salame street until you reach Vital street. Turn right, walk 100 meters until you arrive to Florentin street. Turn left and you’ve reached your destination.

By Car:
All of Israel’s major car rental companies are located at the airport. The reservation desks are above the arrivals hall and the cars are kept a bus-ride away.

Parking is available at 24 Ma’on street, at a cost of 30 ILS for 12 hours / 50 ILS for 24 hour, (If there is no one there you can just enter and pay on your way out)
What is included in the price of the room?
Free WiFi, premium bedding, towels and private bathroom, daily housekeeping, a 24-hour front desk, Lounge area include refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in: 3pm. If you arrive earlier, you can store your luggage in our luggage room until your room is ready. If your room is ready before 3pm, you may have access to the room before check in free of charge.
Check out :The room is yours until 11:00am on the day of your departure. If you wish to check out later than 11:00am, please contact reception.
Can I arrive in the middle of the night?
Of course. Our reception is open 24 hours.
Just give us a call so we know when you will be arriving.
What do I need to present at check in?
In order to check in, we will need a copy of your passport and a copy of your B2 visa.
We do not accept driving license or student IDs. To make your check in process as smooth as possible, please make sure you have your reservation confirmation number at hand. It does not need to be printed.
How do I cancel my booking?
If you want to cancel your reservation, you can do so without any cancellation fee up to 48 hours prior to arrival otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your reservation.
If you do not show up for any reason, you will be charged directly by credit card for the first night of your booking.
If your reservation is for two rooms or more: we need to be notified 7 days prior to your arrival; otherwise, you will be charged for the first night of your booking.
If your booking has been made and prepaid through a travel website or offered on a discount rate, package deal or any other promotion that requires full payment at the time of reservation, it is non-refundable, transferable or amendable.
What are my payment options?
You can pay in cash (ILSש”ח /USD $ /EURO €) or by credit card: Visa, MasterCard and American express.
Is there any booking fee?
There is no booking fee when making a reservation directly through our website.
Reservation fees when booking via travel websites are depending on their terms and conditions.
Can I still book if I do not have a credit card?
No, you will need to have a credit card to guarantee your booking and check in with us.
Do your prices include V.A.T.?
Prices do not include taxes when booking directly through our website. However, In Israel, tourists do not pay V.A.T on hotel rooms or rental cars. to verify that you are a tourist and do not need to pay VAT we must see your B2 visa (looks like a blue train ticket) that you received when entering Israel via Ben Gurion Airport.
What time is breakfast?
7:30am- 13:00pm. Breakfast served at a local cafe across the street.
What does breakfast include?
Coffee & pasty or Coffee & a small morning sandwich
Do you serve lunch and dinner?
We serve breakfast only. Dinner is available from 7pm-12pm at the ground floor restaurant. Special prices for our houseguests.
Is your house secure and safe?
Yes, we make sure our House is always safe and secure. Our front door is always closed, but you can ring the bell and we will buzz you in instantly. There are cameras in all common areas and the hallways and our reception desk is open 24 hours.
How long can I stay at the house?
There is a maximum stay of 3 weeks, depending on availability. Get in touch with the house directly to check availability.
How can I make a group reservation?

Can I be guaranteed that all my friends will share the same dorm?
We will always try to put you and your friends in the same room. Make sure to get in touch with the house reception before you arrive to make sure they know.
Can I reserve a top or bottom bunk bed ahead of time?
In case you are sleeping in a bunk, you can write a comment when making the reservation and we will do our best to assign you to a bed of your choice.
Are the dorm rooms mixed gender?
We have one mixed dorm room and one female dorm room. Alternatively, you can choose a private room.
Can under 18s stay in the house?
Yes, but they will need to be accompanied by an adult and stay in a private room.
Is there a curfew?
There is no curfew; you can enter and leave the house as you please.
Are the beds single or double?
Most of our private rooms have double beds. Some private rooms have two single beds.
Do your house accept pets?
Sorry, you cannot bring pets into our house. Guide dogs are more than welcome.
Is drinking/smoking allowed in my room?
Smoking and drinking is forbidden in all rooms. If you feel like a relaxing drink, you are welcome to do so in our restaurant on the ground floor, where you can taste our special cocktails. Open every day until 2am!

Just contact our reception desk! Our crew will give you all the information and inspiration you need to find things to do while in Tel Aviv. we are all very up-to-date with what’s going on in the city. Just give us your Tel Aviv wish list and we’ll do our best to make it come true!
You should know that our team is very familiarized with our neighborhood, Florentine so they can recommend you coffee shops, bars, local shops and places to visit. It’s great to get to know the most popular spots in Tel Aviv but we also want you to feel the local vibe, and in Florentine you will definitely get the feel of our culture.
Can I get something delivered to the house?
Yes, you can, but we recommend that you let the house reception team know if you’re expecting a delivery. We don’t accept responsibility for lost or damaged packages.
Can I bring in guests who aren't staying in the house?
Friends and family who live in the city or are staying at other hotels are welcome in the social areas and in our ground floor restaurant.
Can I bring my own food and drink into the house?
You cannot bring food from outside into the hostel, but we do have a restaurant and bar that opens every evening so you’re never left hungry!
Do you have any laundry facilities and how much are they?
Next door to the house, are two laundry services that will provide you with special houseguest rates.
Prices vary from 2€ to 8€ for a wash and dry.

Florentin (Hebrew: פלורנטין) is a neighborhood in the southern part of Tel Aviv.
We are located on 6 Florentine Street.

Public transport is located very close to Florentin house: bus station is at 69/75 Salame street, Tel Aviv, just a short walk from the house. Moreover, we have several bus stations that will take you anywhere you need to go. However, Tel Aviv is not only the heart of the city. When leaving the house, if you turn right instead of left, you will discover the neighborhood that defines us: Florentin! As you walk around Florentin, you cannot miss the contrasts: Trendy boutiques, yoga studios, art galleries and pubs with nightly live entertainment, side by side to the original Mom and Pop upholsterers, old-time groceries and tiny synagogues. A great way to get to know the local culture! Get local and mingle with the natives!
Where can we park our car?
Parking on the street in Tel Aviv is heavily restricted, usually it’s for residents only.
The easiest and safest way to park is in parking lots.
Florentin House has no private parking, but there are a few parking lot surrounding us. Contact us for more details.
